LIfe is Good

School is going well. We have a new principal who has been a teacher and believes in letting her teachers do their job. She's supportive, but stays out of the way. 


I'm still VERY happy to be back in First Grade. It's taking a lot to get used to the curriculum and the students' behavior again. They are not as independent as 3rd graders! 


I have been sewing and knitting most evenings. It's hard to know, but I think this is in D.C. this summer.
