Houston Arboretum

Last weekend we spent a wonderful afternoon in the Houston Arboretum.  There were all kinds of things growing and crawling and flying around. It is wonderful.

It may be hard for you to see but there is a mother turtle in the middle of the pond. I never could get a picture of the baby turtle she was ordering around. It was really funny, though.

                                                                     This is everywhere!

 Honeysuckle

Look at this interesting ground cover. I wish I knew what it was.

We will have to go visit again when the water lilies bloom.

  1. Hi Sarah,
Thank you for visiting the Houston Arboretum; we're glad you enjoyed it. You mention above you wish you knew what a ground cover was, is it in one of the photos above?
