It's been a tough day and looking at this quilt, displayed at the Houston Quilt Festival, just makes me happy.
This is the Green-Eyed Button Tail Bird made by Karen Keeler of Topsham, ME for the Hoffman Challenge. The 3 feathers on top of the head give the bird a surprised look, to me anyway.
